About Us
Kassandra Schmutz Boyd began dancing at the age of 4 and has danced ever since. She earned her Bachelors Degree in Dance from the University of Houston, and has taught jazz, tap, ballet, clogging, gymnastics and creative movement for 16 years. She choreographed and performed in several shows at Six Flag Amusement Park. She judges beauty pageants and cheerleading competitions, as well as choreographs for drill teams. Kassie danced her way to placing third runner-up in a preliminary to the Miss America Pageant. As Dance Director, Kassie instigated dance programs at various recreation centers in Oklahoma, Houston and Dallas. She continues to perform in local area plays and musicals. Her hobbies include working as a certified personal trainer, cake decorating, and candle making. Kassie resides in Dallas with her husband Michael, and their four children. Melanie Schmutz Chalk received her Bachelors Degree from Rice University, double majoring in Vocal Music and Sociology. She earned her Masters Degree in Communication from The University of Houston. Melanie has taught voice and piano lessons for 15 years, and has implemented creative movement programs in various Houston-area daycare centers and schools. Melanie performed for several years as a singer/dancer at Six Flags Amusement Park, and toured Africa as a member of the Brigham Young University Young Ambassadors. Melanie is a National Anthem soloist for various teams, including the Houston Astros and Utah Jazz. She currently enjoys composing music, traveling, and gardening. She lives in Houston, Texas, with her husband, Daron, and their three children. Jennifer Schmutz Law earned her Associates Degree in Liberal Arts from Tulsa Junior College. She studied dance for several years in Oklahoma, where she enjoyed performing in community productions. Jenny has been innovating unique child-play activities for many years. She sharpened her creative skills as the Owner/Coordinator for numerous craft show exhibitions in Texas. She has served in the youth organization and children's program at her church, and enjoys participating in shows with the youth and choreographing skits. Jenny has taught creative movement in the Dallas/Fort Worth area for many years. She is currently working toward earning her black belt as she studies American karate with her husband, Gordon, and her four children.
